Across the garden from the accommodation is a building which houses a small art gallery, a guest dining area and your hosts' private quarters. It was also previously the site of Lanterns at Willowbank, a fully licensed, a la carte restaurant with a reputation for good quality food, presentation and service - a well respected regional restaurant that had been included in The Age Good Food Guide for a number of years.

While the restaurant has since closed to the public and the interior rearranged, an intimate licensed dining area has been retained exclusively for guests. The kitchen continues to produce the same high standard of meals that graced the Lanterns Menu.

 

In the cooler months guests can enjoy a romantic dinner by the open fire. In summer dine al fresco in the tranquil, shady courtyard.

Meals straight from the grill are cooked to your personal preference, so you can enjoy the true flavour of freshly prepared fare, highlighting the best of the region's seasonal produce and featuring wines from local vineyards.

Finish with a delectable cheese platter, Noel's freshly made cakes and first grade plunger coffee, cappucino or a pot of tea.

Simple and uncomplicated food is the philosophy behind the menu. Noel's recently published cook book "Cooking with Two Hats" is testament to the popularity of many of her recipes. The book is on sale in the Gallery.
